JD

Breed: Terrier Mix
Sex: Male
Born: 2008

We picked "JD" up about a year ago as a rescue dog from a woman who originally got him from the pound. He is a young dog but we really don't know how old he is (we're thinking maybe two or three years old). He has lots of energy and would be good in a family with energetic children or energetic seniors. When we got JD, we already had another dog, which is the reason we are looking for a new home for him. Our other dog doesn't get along too well with him. He loves to give kisses and will lie in your lap all day if you let him. He sleeps in a crate at night, comes when you call him if you have food, plays fetch, sits and shakes hands. When he gets a burst of energy, he will tear around the house in loops, running as fast as his short little legs will let him. I think with a little work and without the distraction of another dog, he can be taught many things. He will make someone a wonderful companion.
