Few dogs have been through the suffering that Holly has survived. While she physically is okay, her broken spirit taught her that people cannot be trusted.

Holly was found abandoned in a box on a Kentucky roadside. Taken home by someone who meant well, Holly was further abused by relatives who kicked her and instilled more fear in tiny Holly. She had to defend herself the only way she could, by not trusting anyone.

Holly was driven across country by the person who initially found her, in a second attempt to spare her the abuse that seemed her fate. She clung to every move this person made and bonded deeply, but this time the pain was in the goodbye when Holly was brought to AALOC to be placed in a home that would never hurt her again.

Holly has had intensive inboard training for several months, costing over $1000.

She is in desperate need of a compassionate, committed adult home with previous dog ownership experience.
